So I wrote this song by accident... totally!! i was actually recording the tracks for "Hooked" and while testing the guitar tone I had this really thick distortion and played the opening riff of what became "Dirty Love"! I saved what I was doing and started this track... it started the weekend that spawned 4 tracks that all appear on "And Begin"!

At first I just wrote it to amuse myself as I am completely enamored with 80's rock music like Ratt, Warrant, Skid Row etc... and though elements have shown up in previous works, I've never done anything so blatantly nostalgic in my repertoire!

Lyrically... Dating for the wrong reasons... Eventually, if there's no connection after the initial excitement wears off... then maybe it's time to move on!
